Professional Highlights: Recently joined Kemira as Senior Vice President for the Americas, responsible for commercial organization of $700M across US, Canada, Mexico and Brazil. Spent 17 years with Eastman Chemical, serving in multiple roles across Sales, Marketing, Business Management, and Strategy. Inaugural Steering Member of Eastman Catalyst Resource Group and Diversity & Inclusion Chair; served as a Board Member for multiple industry organizations, including Plastics Recyclers and Pine Chemicals. Proudly served on local Boards over multiple years representing personal interests, including Girls on the Run, Hope House, and Girl Scouts of the Southern Appalachians. I am honored to have been named to the Poets & Quants list of “Best & Brightest Executive MBAs” in 2018, as well as the Business Journal’s “40 Under Forty” in 2010.
Personal Interests: Running, Yoga, Travel, Reading, Hiking; Learning about Business Strategy, World Cultures, and History; Creating experiences, learning and playing with my two girls, family and friends. I love to do university recruiting, speak to students and clubs, and coach young professionals as time allows.
International Travel Experience: My newest career move has accelerated my exposure as the company is headquartered in Helsinki, Finland. I’ve been blessed to travel to many fantastic places. Highlights include touring and working in several European countries, including Netherlands, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Denmark, Belgium, Germany and France; soaking up culture in Brazil, Chile, Argentina and Colombia; and experiencing business culture and cuisine in Thailand, Singapore, China, Japan and Malaysia.
Noteworthy Travel Experiences Within the U.S.: Completing my EMBA at Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management in Chicago and Miami, hiking in Zion National Park; Attending the International Hot Air Balloon Festival in Albuquerque; Taking a venture capital course in San Francisco with IDEO/Kellogg. My favorite cities for culture, shopping and sightseeing remain Boston, Chicago, and New York.
