Professional Highlights: After four years at ETSU as a Roan Scholar, I attended Liberty University School of Law on scholarship. I started my career as an Associate at Hunter Smith & Davis law firm and became a Partner after seven years. I represent a wide variety of clients and specialize in insurance defense matters, with a special interest in insurance coverage and fraud. I am a member of several professional associations, including the International Association of Special Investigators, and am a featured speaker at their upcoming annual conference in Dallas. I am a member of The Business Journal 40 Under 40 and have been named a ‘Rising Star’ for the Mid-South region by Super Lawyers rating service. While at ETSU, I was named Greek Woman of the Year and inducted into the Student Leader Hall of Fame.
Personal interests: All of my spare time is spent with my family. My husband, Jason, and I met while students at ETSU. We have two daughters – Charlotte (7) and Ivy (2) - and love creating memories together.
International Travel Experience: Bahamas, Dominican Republic, and Mexico
Noteworthy Travel Experiences Within the U.S.: I recently traveled to Washington D.C. to be admitted to practice in front of the U.S Supreme Court. I had not been to D.C. since college, and wow – what an amazing place! Seeing the monuments, museums and historical sites as an adult (and through the eyes of my young daughter) was a great experience.
