Class of 2011

Katharine Elizabeth Jones

Katie graduated summa cum laude in 2011 with a B.S. in Political Science and a double minor in Legal Studies and Criminal Justice.  She attended The University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law, where she received the prestigious Herbert Herff Presidential Law Scholarship, served as Notes Editor of the Law Review, and graduated magna cum laude in the top 10% of her class in 2014.  Katie is currently an Associate at A.D. Jones, Jr., PLLC, Attorney at Law, in Bristol, Tennessee.  Her practice areas include estates, estate planning, real estate, landlord/tenant litigation, adoptions, conservatorships, and business law.  She is licensed to practice law in both Tennessee and Virginia.  Katie recently accepted a position as an Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney in Virginia.

Christopher Ryan Mynhier

Chris graduated in May 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in Nursing. While at ETSU, he was involved with the Admissions Ambassadors, President’s Pride, Student Nurses’ Association, as well as the Habitat for Humanity chapter. He was also selected for the Honors-in-Discipline program within the College of Nursing. He is currently serving as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at the Mountain Home VA Medical Center.  Chris enjoys spending time with his wife, Courtney, and being involved in church activities at CrossLife Church in Johnson City.
