Class of 2009

Whitney Anderson

At the end of her junior year at ETSU, Whitney was admitted to the Bill Gatton College of Pharmacy where she served as a Student Ambassador.  She was also a member and the secretary of the Kappa Epsilon professional fraternity and a dean’s list student. Having graduated in May 2012, she is currently employed with Walgreen’s Pharmacy in Johnson City.  Active in the community, she can frequently be found taking blood pressure readings at a local senior center, assisting with flu shot clinics, and generally helping promote medical awareness and healthier lifestyles for people in the region.

Brittany Moore Robbins

Brittany graduated in 2009 with a degree in Biology and earned her Master of Science with a concentration in Biomedical Sciences in 2012. She will receive her Education Specialist degree, Ed.S., in August 2015.  She is currently teaching Biology and secondary sciences at Sullivan North High School where she advises the Key Club and Raider Revolution, and coaches volleyball and basketball.  Brittany and her husband, Michael, are expecting their first child in January 2016.

Phillip Clay Ross

Phillip graduated in 2009 with a B.S. in Accounting. He attended Wake Forest School of Law, where he received the prestigious Fletcher Scholarship, served as a Notes & Comments editor of the Law Review, and graduated magna cum laude in 2012. Phillip practiced corporate law for two years and is now an investment banking associate at BlackArch Partners in Charlotte, N.C., where he resides with his wife, Liz, his daughter, Emery, and his son, Ethan.

Tim William Vanthournout

After completing his undergraduate degree in management at ETSU, Tim completed his Master of Education at Milligan College and received his teaching certification in grades 7-12 in Mathematics, Business and Marketing. He currently teaches Personal Finance at Science Hill High School and serves as Head Coach for Freshman and Junior Varsity Football, as well as Assistant Varsity Baseball Coach.
