Nominations for the Roan Class of 2022 will open in August 2017.  High school seniors who are competitive applicants to East Tennessee State University (ETSU), on track to graduate during the 2017-2018 school year, and attending an eligible high school in one of the counties listed below, will be eligible to be nominated.

Eligible high schools with a senior class size of 400+ may nominate 4 students; schools with 300-399 seniors may nominate 3 students; schools with 200 – 299 seniors may nominate 2 students, and schools with less than 200 seniors may nominate 1 student.

Northeast TN Counties: Carter, Claiborne, Cocke, Grainger, Greene, Jefferson, Hamblen, Hancock, Hawkins, Johnson, Sevier, Sullivan, Unicoi, Union, Washington

Southwest VA Counties: Grayson, Lee, Scott, Washington

Western NC Counties: Ashe, Avery, Buncombe, Haywood, Madison, Mitchell, Watauga, Yancey
